Posted on 03/12/2024, in

What is it?

Based on what I think are important to note down in most classes, I invented a way of taking notes. This method, named The Matrix Method, shows four main ‘matrices’(Or Boxes). Here is what each box is used for: -<div class="thi-columns" markdown="1">

  • Terminology: This box is used to write down important definitions for the concept you are learning.
  • The Notetaking Body: This one is self-explanatory, you can write your outline method style notes here.
  • Visuals: This one is also self-expanatory, draw any visuals to aid you here. Some examples include mindmaps, maps, graphs, or some simple drawings.
  • Free Space: Also self-explanatory, use this areas for doodles, extra space, or more visuals–use this space for your needs.
